Marvel’s superheroes are ready to rule the coming movie season. On October 25, Thor and his companions will arrive at Italian cinemas with the third episode, dedicated to the God of Thunder, named Thor: Ragnarok.
Produced by Marvel Studios, this film debuts four years after Thor: The Dark World. The film was a huge success, not only from the excellent worldwide reaction (and grossed around 645 million dollars ed), but also that of the film critics.
Thor: Ragnarok – the plot
This new creation by Marvel Cinematic Universe, stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor himself. The leading character will find himself imprisoned without his war hammer, the Mjolnir, on Sakaar, Hulk’s planet.
In order to free himself, he will have to fight against the former in a terrible battle in the arena. Only then will he be able to return to Asgard and save his homeland from his evil brother Loki, who will play a more influential role in this film.
He will also have to stop Hela (who came to the Asgardian residence in order to usurp the throne) to unleash the Ragnarok, the ultimate battle between the forces of darkness and light, which would cause the end of the world.
The plot of Thor: Ragnarok is linked, in particular, to the Avengers film series. In fact, the events which originate this new creation are derived from the movie Avengers: Age Of Ultron (released in 2015). However, this is not all, this film will also be the trigger for the following production (Avengers: The Infinity War), which will be released in cinemas in 2018.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting this new installment
Thor: Ragnarok has been eagerly awaited by fans, especially those who were somewhat disappointed with Thor: The Dark World. The trailer leaves everyone with bated breath. The footage and soundtrack alone prove that this will be an epic film, probably the best of any existing film dedicated to the God of Thunder.
We are tempted by the prospect, especially due to Hulk’s inclusion in the film being revealed. The arena clash scene is apparently a faithful re-enactment of a scene which already exists in Planet Hulk, the comic book, published between 2006 and 2007.
